The design and engineering of polymer products with enhanced planar properties require the ability to control the magnitude and directionality of the properties while the polymer is being formed to a specific shape. Polteco's team invented and developed a novel processing methodology that bypasses the limitations of conventional thermal processes and enables the production of products of UHMWPE and other polymers having practically any planar shape with controlled enhanced planar mechanical properties.
